Franklin and Bret parked in upper Salt Valley and walked a loop, descended via a new route, found lots of cowboy rock art. "Perfecto Martinez" dates to 1924, "Valley View, MC" and "post no bills" to 1917.
Is the mountain lion cowboy or Indian art? Either way, its unusual since it depicts only one leg and indicates three dimensions with the tail, curled along an implied ground surface. Do the bullet impact marks on the girlie image record misogyny or art criticism?
