Signed and Dated, March 11, 2007, part 1

Despite scouring the land of towers and fins south of Turkey Park, the Club's leading archivists--Freddie, Mick, Lucy, and Bret--were unable to locate volumes 2 and 3 of The Basque's epic trilogy of life in Ameriketan. We did find writing by LR Mestas, Durango, Colo, Jan 22, 1945; Domingo, 1-24-38, Rufo (probably Domingo's family name); Moises Feb 7, 1921, Martinez, Mora N Nex; 2/1/46, Margarito Trujillo, Espanola, New Mexico; Ben Chavez, Utah; Fred Rista??D; J ????Ro(ybal) Dec 10, 1931, Chamita, NM; J. Tristant, March 4ht(sic), 1923; J.P. Har?ms; Dec 27, O7; Paul Arla, Feb 1, 1955. And two drawings of (nice warm) houses.

Mick found the only known signed and dated petroglyph, thereby resolving a mystery that plagued the northern marches for weeks--who put up the turkey (see archive, Jan 14)? An Ancestral Pueblo hunter, a New Mexican Indian shepherd (such as Roybal, a Tewa from San Juan Pueblo), or a New Mexican Hispanic (I presume that Basques did not concern themselves with Ameriketan's domestic birds)?
